BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE ORGANIZATION

The University of Iceland is a progressive educational and scientific institution, renowned in the global scientific community for its research. It is a state university, situated in the heart of Reykjavík. The University of Iceland has five (5) Schools, the School of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, Health Sciences, Humanities, and Education.

WHAT IS YOUR ROLE IN THE PROJECT?

The University of Iceland serves as the Project Coordinator which is tasked to manage and oversee the overall implementation of the project. It also participates in all the work packages such as with WP1 and WP2 on selecting compounds by the reporter assay (CampLuc) and analyses of mechanism of action in cell lines. As the Coordinator, the UI leads WP8-Project Management.
