BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE ORGANIZATION

SERMAS is the administrative and management structure that integrates every public hospital and other public health services of the Madrid Regional Health System. It is the legal representative of Hospital Universitario Ramón y Cajal (HURYC), one of the first ranking Hospital in Spain, which concentrate its research activity in the IRYCIS (Ramón y Cajal Institute for Health Research).

WHAT IS YOUR ROLE IN THE PROJECT?

Selection of microorganisms for in vitro and animal model studies with aroylated phenylenediamines (APD) compounds. Study of the antimicrobial activity (MIC, killing curves) of APD compounds. Genomic analysis of translocated bacteria/bacterial communities in in vivo Inflammatory bowel disease models in relation to the microbiome as well as in immuno-checkpoint analysis.
