The IN-ARMOR consortium is pleased to announce the completion of its 2nd Periodic Review meeting, held today with the European Commission’s Project Officer and an independent panel of external reviewers.

The meeting provided an opportunity for the consortium to present the scientific and technical progress achieved during the second reporting period, including advances in the development of novel host-directed therapeutic strategies designed to tackle antimicrobial resistance (AMR), recognised as one of the most pressing public health challenges of our time.

Throughout the session, partners showcased key results across the project’s work packages, discussed the consortium’s dissemination, communication and exploitation strategy, and outlined the roadmap for the project’s final phase. The review also served as a valuable checkpoint to ensure that IN-ARMOR remains firmly aligned with its mission of delivering meaningful, science-driven impact for European citizens and healthcare systems.

We are grateful for the constructive feedback and guidance provided by our Project Officer and the external reviewers. Independent review is a fundamental part of responsible research, and their insights help us continue to strengthen the quality, rigour and impact of our work.

With this important checkpoint successfully behind it, the IN-ARMOR consortium now looks ahead to the project’s next phase, continuing its efforts to advance innovative solutions in the global fight against antimicrobial resistance.
